file transfer problem
Hi,
i want to transfer a big file from my friend. but it is big so i need a pouse option there and better it to remember what it transfered in case of disconnection. Do you guys have any idea how? Maybe some program.... because stuff like icq file transfer is not good for in case of disconnection... tnx |

A pouse option? Whats that? Is one or both persons on dial up? You could use netmeeting that's built into all versions of windows. Click on start -> run and type CONF |

Not sure why you'd need to pause it. How many gigs are you talking about?
I'd just go for the file transfer and let the machine(s) sit while the transfer is going on. If it stops, which it shouldn't, re-do it. Unless this is something you'll do often, I'd just use netmeeting. Or if both pc's are XP you can use remote desktop sharing. |

If you are doing multi-gig transfers, try moving individual files or small groups, rather than everything at once.

you can find a software to help you in transferring big files at ezail file transfer It supports pause and resume as well. Hope it helps |
