Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate your help on this!
Well the problem I have is not much of an error.... but I was wondering if it was something unsafe for my PC security or not.... Now this started to happen when I downloaded IE 5.5 from some college or university website.... This error came up.... "Scripts are usually safe. Do you want to allow scripts to run?" I always hit no when this pops up.... I also checked my internet explorer settings and I believe the website I got that off of was set as my home page.... and perhaps also somewhere else.... but I am unsure now.... Now I got rid of IE (Or so I think!)but now what happens is when my AIM Today window pops up for the AIM client it asks that same question again! Can someone please help me out! |

That's because of the security settings. Since Internet Explorer is an integral part of Windows (or so Microsoft likes to claim in antitrust cases
), "removing" Internet Explorer won't help. The setting you're looking for is part of the "security" system of Windows. You can disable this question by going to Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Security -> Highlight Internet then click on Custom Level and when the window opens, select "medium" in the "Reset custom settings box" and press "Reset". |
