AIM Password

My daughter just recently dissapointed me and the wife by us finding she was drinking with friends and age 15. Naturally she is grounded for a month. My wife wants to sign on to her AIM and see if she can find out what else she has been doing behind our backs since she is hiding something for sure. I found the password in the registry, but it seems to be hiding the real one. Is there a program that can revial the true password itself. Thanks

Probably can't help you crack a password on this "Open to the Public" forum. Wouldn't want your daughter for example to read it and help her crack your passwords

Your reason may be legitimate, but rule 9 states:

Quote:
Zero Tolerance on Piracy
NO WAREZ. NO SERIALS. NO CRACKS / CRACKING / ILLEGAL PROGRAMS. Anything that can be used in software piracy or other illegal software activities will result in a ban. Same goes for abusive programs like mailbombers, forum and usenet flooders and email harvesting bots. This also includes unreleased products.
Any security workarounds/password cracking are not allowed here.

Thanks guys, I did find out the password. All I did was click forgot password They sent it to her e-mail address, which is one of my sub accounts for my internet provider. I have the ability to change passwords, because I did not know hers. All is well we went to the police today, and we have a meeting with the officer who handles juveniles.

You may want to check out Dead AIM - a AIM enhancement client that does several things, among them log conversations. I used to use it until I found a machine that will hold Trillian without crashing. I use Trillian now which also does that...but that's a whole new thing.

if you just want to keep track of who goes on your comp and what they do, i would look into a program called spector pro. http://www.spectorsoft.com/ thats the link to the makers. its 99 dollars i think but there's a trial version i believe. It runs in the background and is completely hidden. you can't find it from the processes menu and you can't see it either. you press a combination of buttons to activate it. It has a couple of features. it keeps pictures of stuff i think within the last 48 hours your computer has been in use. also, they have keyloggers that tell you what the person typed on your computer and what app they used. i don't think it can keylog firefox but should be fine for everything else :AIM, IE, etc...
