IE turns gray

Hello everyone.

Every time I go to the site www.usnews.com in Internet explore on my desktop, it jams up and the screen turns to a very dark grayscale, and sometimes turns completely dark while the light turns amber like it isn’t getting data from the video card. If I go to the site in Mozilla everything’s fine. It’s also fine when I visit the site with IE on my laptop.

The desktop is running 98SE and the laptop is running XP, both computers have the latest updates with the exception of SP2 on the laptop.

I have run AVG anti-virus, nothing. Spybot S&D found 6 problems, but I fixed them and still have the problem.

As far as I can tell this problem only happens when I go to usnews.com, not with any other site.

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

Just tried that, same thing happened only this time it didn’t jam up, but still turned to grayscale, but there was a small horizontal strip across the screen where it’s color. It’s very weird.
