Email??
I got a email from Amazon today regarding a order. Naturally, I wouldn't think twice about this, except I haven't ordered from Amazon since Christmas '03, and I don't actually EMAIL them.
The second thing I noticed was that supposedly I tried to send them a .scr file? And yes, I do know what that happens to be. Also, Amazons emails aren't on my address' account. All I can think is that someone has used my email to send them some sort of virus? Is that even remotely possible? Regards, James |

I think this is a virus or a scam. Delete it. And run a virus scan while your at it.

Looks like a viri - someone has hacked into my MS Outlook Express too, until I got my account fixed. Naturally, I would think it's the server that's sending the emails, so you may want to contact the ISP first. Of course, update and run your AV, run Adaware, and Spybot S&D, and CWShredder, and post a HJT log (all in the sticky post of this forum).
