Increase the number of downloads with IE6

I am running Win XP Home Ed. with Internet explorer V6. I used to be able to download more than two files at a time. but now I can't. I seemto remember there was a registry adjustment I could make to allow IE6 to download more than two files. Does anyone remember what this registry change is or how I can configure my system to allow more than two downloads at a time.

only 2 files? I cant get alot more then that without the fix. Best way is just to switch to firefox, it has a download manager in it. Or try leechget, its a download accelarator/manager and works with mozilla, IE and opera but it has trouble running on firefox.
