Question Cant Connect to music servers/network computer

os:windows me
ie:6
router:linksys wireless broadband router g

My family computer used to have norton personal firewall installed. A younger member of my family deleted the program and many other things...which now cause pop ups to come about telling how certain files are missing and to uninstall and reinstall but, there is no uninstall for it. The directory doesnt exist anymore and yet the pop ups continue. Also i can't connect to my other computer if i wanted to play a lan game, and i can no longer connect to rhapsody's music servers... I have checked my router's firewall and even with it disabled It solves nothing...searched for all files belonging to NPF and still nothing...i can check my e-mail and use the internet and also provide a wireless connection to the other computers...
