missing image
I subscribed to Aldi Stores news letter, when they sent it this week the images are missing, how to I set the computer to show images? I haven't changed any settings, last week the images were being shown, whats going on.

Now, I'm taking it that this is email. In that case, there can be two problems - your computer is disabling images, or that the images aren't loaded properly onto the server which the page is accessing. Presuming the problem is the former, do you have MS Windows XP SP2? SP2 blocks all images on Outlook/OE on default.

If you have Windows XP with SP2 installed, you can disable SP2's new email image blocking feature. In Outlook Express, go to Tools>Options>Security tab and uncheck "Block images and other external content in HTML mail," click OK to save the change.
If you don't want to unblock images on all messages, when you open a message with an image, a bar should appear below the Subject line. Click on that bar and the images will then show in that message. |
