Problems with Mozilla Firefox?

Hello all,
Anybody have problems with Mozilla Firefox? I have version 0.9.3. It's been working fine for about a month now. Then this week it seems to have slowed down quite a bit, even to the point of a hick-up while loading pages (all I see is white for serveral seconds 30-60)

I know to some of you I may sound a bit pompus complaining about waiting 30 to 60 seconds, especially if you're ysing dial up but I'm at my work. We have a T1 provided by AT&T and I'm connected throught a 10/100 mbs hub.

I've tried downloading and re-installing. There is no lag in IE.

Anybody have any ideas to get that performance back? I was busy falling in love with Firefox and now it's starting to act up. Help! Don't make me go back to IE.

You might want to try upgrading to the new Firefox release--1.0PR. See if that helps.

I am still on 0.8 because it works fine. I am waiting until the 1.0 final (and it's reviews) before I upgrade.

Thanks

Okay so I downloaded the newer version uninstalled the older one installed the new one and it still had the problem with the lag. I did what glc advised and it seems to have fixed the problem. I feel so sheepish. Thanks for the easy fix. I should check a little harder next time before blowing the whistle for help.
