Anyone using Firefox 1.0?

I understand that Firefox is now officially out of beta and 1.0 is released. I am still using 0.9.2, are you experiencing any bugs with 1.0? Or is it all around better than the pervious versions.

I would stick with 0.9.2 for now, with 1.0pvr I'm getting popups. Go to www.aol.com and then close the page, you will get a popup.

Same here, everything is fine. One note, "tabbrowser extensions" does not work, if you use it. I am sure a compatible release will be issued, but as of now, nothing.

Mine gets blocked and a little message says it. That could be SP2 though. I RARELY have a popup.

Also, a nice extension is the Download Manager Tweak and Ad Block.

Had it for a few days. Crashed twice for some reason, other then that its been great. The lil update feature is handy. No popups. I don't see much of a need to upgrade, but it's not bad or anything.

It's still just a preview release. I'm still on 0.9.3.

O I did not know that it was not the official release. I will just wait until that comes out then; I see no reason to get 1.0 when I will be downloading another version shortly after.

are you sure you have it in the right folder?
This is what my installation uses for plugins,
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins

Cool

I tried it and went back to 9.3, did not like it, just did not feel right.

Maybe when they come out with the next version will try again, but for now real happy with my 9.3 version

I use the 1.0 Preview, and when I use Java, at random moments it just crashes, I have sent and error report and hope it is fixed in the final version. But then this could be a problem with Java, and not firefox, but I will see.

A week ago I downloaded Firefox 1.0 preview release. I've had no problems with the program. I wonder if some of the problems come from legacy files from the older version?
