Script Errors
Hey guys,
Just a small web problem (I hope )I have recently created my own ProBoards Forum and have found a problem. When i make a post, say for example on the "General" Board and then clik on the "Home" link it will not register as me making a post until i refresh the page. Also when i put a custom background on my forum i have to refresh to see it, and when i acess another part of board it changes back to previous setting, until i refresh. This also happens wen i want to read a new post etc. I have a error button at the bottom corner of my screen and it says: Quote:
Also when i accessed my site in college i saw affialates frm Google, but on my home PC they are not there. My last problem is when i try to check the source of a website, i clik on View>Source and it does not give me any website sources makin it hard wen i create my own Any ideas? |

Internet Explorer wants to load pages from its cache and the cache holds the old version of the page.
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>General tab>Settings button and enable "Every visit to the page," click OK. In addition, if you've got a broadband connection (cable or DSL), the default setting for the cache size is usually overkill. I think ten megs is plenty for broadband. If that doesn't fix it (and if you're on dialup, checking for new versions every time and a small cache setting may slow things down), the problem may lie with your ISP if it uses a cache server. |

Clear your browser cache, Tools/Internet Options/Temporary Internet Files/Delete Files . That fixes it nearly every time.

Can you view the source on other sites or just this pro forum site?
The script error that you are getting isn't the problem, it is only an annoyance. The error you are getting would cause the ad not to load but wouldn't affect the source. |
