Boom

Pshop 6 is suddenly running the floppy like mad - randomly!

as if its looking for something... but no error messages, jus the wait for it to stop before i can keep working.

cache is set to c drive

recent docs purged

using winme

nearing suicidal madness...

help!?

Question: Is this a warez version? If so, did you download any patches or Adobe filters or where you on-line during istallation? If so, it's their little way of saying buy the product. Wait another week or so -- you'll really be wanting your computer to commit suicide.

Adobe has all kinds of tricks waiting for users of warez.

Photoshop 6 sometimes does pretty stupid things. Usually you can fix it by resetting the preferences file. You can do this be pressing ctrl-alt-shift when starting photoshop. Then a dialog should pop up asking to reset the settings file.

Also install the 6.01 patch. It fixes a lot of strange issues.
