Question Firefox

Couple of questions about firefox.

When scrolling down a page why does it use so much something (RAM or CPU or both) if I am playing music at the same time, it very easy notice that isn't getting all the preformance it needs, i don't know how to describe it, it kind of cuts in and out really fast and so it's all broken up or something like it. How do you fix that, or is it not possible?

Also is there a way to add a "x" or close button or something to each tab so it can be closed real easy, without having to right-click first. Fixed. Found extention

How do I make so that if a website wants to open a new window for a certain page, that it opens it in a new tab instead.

How do I unblock something blocked with Adblock? Fixed. Thanks aym_7

When I click on a link or type an address, the status bar says "waiting for (site)" for about 5 seconds, everything related to firefox is totally frozen during that time, then it starts loading. why?

Thanks

If your using the latest version there should be a little red box with a white x in it at the top right of the tab. Not the window, but the tab itself. I'm not sure aobut the other things. I just started using firefox recently, i love it already!

Single Window: http://update.mozilla.org/extensions...x&id=50&vid=53

> How do I unblock something blocked with Adblock?

Tools > Ad block > Preferences > highlight item and press delete.

Thanks for those tips!
The adblock tip worked but the single window extention says it's compatible with my version of Firefox, I have 1.0 preview version. Any other alternatives? Thanks

What extensions do you have? Were these problems happening since the beginning?

I should mention that the "waiting for site" happens only periodicly, but when it does IE isn't any slower than usual. And the resource problem is from pages like this one, pages with less content are ok and don't have the problem, make me think it's ram or somtin like it. Thanks for your help.

Hmm, just guessing, maybe you have too many items in history, and Firefox takes several seconds to go through them when you type to offer suggestions? Have you tried to clear your history/cache?

As for the CPU usage thing, when I quickly scroll pages I notice higher CPU usage, but I don't feel that Firefox is slower than usual, it just takes more CPU cycles, is it the same for you?
