Favorites links / Open in New Window
Hello,
i asked the question below in some other forum but i didn't get a satisfactory answer; here it is: I am say, at the Home page or any page (Internet Explorer 6) and i want to Open in New Window a page/link from the Favorites list. Can this be done? I tried the following but it doesn't work for the Favorites, Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Reuse windows for launching shortcuts (i ticked that off). How should i set it to work? Thank you.

I've always used a two step process. Open a new IE window and then open the new favorites item from there. Opening any favorite item from within an existing window changes that window.

You can download a small bat file from this page that will make the registry change needed to add "Open in new window" to the right click options of the Favorites menu. The registry edit it makes is explained on that page if you'd rather do it manually.
