Red face Which Download Manager?

Hi

Had Flashget running on my machine but its seems like its riddled with adware and spyware. Got the PCmech newsletter and it mentions Getright 5.2. However I have seen some people on the forums mention that its got adware as well?

Could anyone suggest a program I could use or recommend Getright?

Thanks
Haggis

I find Getright to be excellent. I've never heard of it having adware/spyware but I run Adaware/Spybot regularly so I'm sure if there was anything there they'd pick it up

I used getItRight a while back before alternative browsers starting including download managers. If you are using IE, I'd suggest firefox or opera instead of IE and a download manager.

I've downloaded up to 5 1000 mb files simultaneously with Firefox and never had a corrupted file.

Agree, just get a new browser with a download manager included, kill 2 birds with one stone that way.
