Sit back, take a deep breath, and take some time to write a post that makes sense, please. You need to provide some details. How are you connected to the Internet? How is your network set up? What networking hardware are you using?

Today i turned on my computer and the internet wouldn't start. Since I'm on a network in my home, I decided to check my other computer. The other computer has both Windows Enterprise and Windows XP on it, I was able to connect through the net with Windows Enterprise but not with the Windows XP. What could be my problem? Thanks for all of your time =]

As glc asked - How are you connected to the Internet? Broadband, dialup, ISDN, something else? How is your network set up? What networking hardware are you using?
Without knowing what kind of connection you have (DSL, cable, something else) and what hardware you're using (router, switch, hub, something else), it's difficult to offer any help. |

Also in Window XP, can you go to Network Neighborhood, click on veiw workgroup computers and see the other computer? Can you do this in your Window Enterprise? When you check your network connections, does the internet connection show? What do you get when you open a DOS box in XP and type in ipconfig? These will help us to help you. |
