java and firefox

I have the new version of firefox seens a bit faster then IE 6 but the java (Gamesville and Pogo)don't seem to work or do I have to download it just for firefox?

You will have to install the Java run time environment and plugin to get java apps to work on Firefox. It is available from http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp

I did that but it didnt work BUT IE6 detected the updated java

I'm trying it on my desktop instead of my laptop I'll see if it works here

Thanks I got it going I had to get the most updated JAVA there was a link on there web site to it
