Well I can see them going the way of Hotmail, paying for pop-3 access. I will probably still use the webinterface, since someone at my school invited me, I use that for comunitcating with real people, and my other accounts for automated things (newsletters etc.)

I have two email accounts - one school account and one Gmail account and both of them combined seems to be 650MB...I've had a school account for more than 2 years now and it has yet to reach a gig...
