If your into online gaming (Quake 3 Arena, Starcraft, Tribes,etc..) like me, what conection is better typically for that purpose? DSL or Cable connection??

Get quotes from all available ISP's see if you can get it on paper and if they guarantee it.

I spend much of my free time reading tech news /forums on the web. It seems as if people are having one hell of a time with DSL services - even getting on-line seems like a headache. I have read articles where the provider signs you up and then takes 3 months to get to your house to hook you up...
