PopUps
Hi,
I have tried a number of different popup stoppers. I keep getting popups that come up in a window that has no toolbar or address bar or anything. These are the only ones that get through. How can I stop these? |

Besides the pop up stopper programs, have you tried using Adaware and Spybot to scan your system and remove the pests? You may also want to visit Trendmicro's Housecall site and run a free virus scan. Are you running a current/fully updated Antivirus program?

That may be Messenger popups. If this is Win2K or XP, open control panel, administrative tools, services. Stop the messenger service and disable it.

I have tried adaware, spybot, I've run error guard, I am also running McAfee Security Center. Its the same one, it's an advertisement to clean my registry, and I've done that already.
