I used Ping to identify one computer in the network but computer says unknown host... Is there any way how i can Fix this up. THanks in advance

It is possible that the firewall on that computer or the firewall on your computer is preventing ICMP requests.
It is possible to echo ICMP requests with a host-unknown pong with a firewall. Of course the possibility is real that there might not be TCP/IP used. Cheers. |

Try running a trace route to that ip and see if its actually reaching its destination

More Power |
