Email programs
I've been trying to send an email with a rather large attachment (~ 6meg) it looks as though it has sent properly (becuase the progress bar reaches then end)but then an error message pop's up and says something about a timeout error.
I'm using Outlook Express at the moment and am just wondering if this could be the problem? Could somebody please point me in the direction of an answer or even a better email progyy (apart from Eudora) |

Have you tried Mozilla Thunderbird?

if you're getting a timeout error, it sounds like it could also be the fault of your email server. What sort of account is it (hotmail, isp, gmail, etc)?

5 megs is a common limit on email attachments for most ISPs, i would bet that's your problem.

seems to work fine with mozilla's thunderbird. it'll just take a while to get used to the slight differences between that and outlook express
