WinXP pro IIS. how to questions
I have windows xp professional and i have added IIS (internet information services) I want to make my own web server. I have a web page that i have made using Frontpage. i have my web page posted on comcast (cable service) so i know it works. but i want to use my home pc as a web server. So how do i post a web page on my own server and how do i make a url? if anyone has some good web pages on IIS please post them and i will read them. thank you .

Comcast does not permit public Web servers on residential accounts. If you want a webserver that's more flexible/versatile than what Comcast offers for your personal home page, register a domain and get a commercial host.

i dont want to use comcast, i just said that to prove that my web page will work. i want to make my home pc into a web server using IIS
