Internet Explorer Page Sizing/Printing

Hi folks,

I have Internet Explorer 6.02 on an IBM computer with 256Rom and running Win XP.

It varies from window to window, but a lot of internet sites open with the margins wider than fit into my screen (some fit okay, like this site). When I try to print those "wide" pages on a Ricoh AP2000 printer it cuts off the last few words on the right margin all the way down the page. Changing the margins setting does not seem to help.

How can I correct this?

Thanks in advance!

Peter

You can set the page to landscape in the Page Setup.

A permanent fix?

Hi again,

Thanks, however I would like to print in portrait, too. There must be a wrong setting on my machine where it is not margining properly, that I can undo to allow me to do this? All suggestions are appreciated!

Pretty sure there isn't much you can do. As you've seen, some print ok and some don't...If your printer has a "zoom" feature you could try going to 90%.

that is normal when printing from the internet.
what I do, if I don't want the entire page, is to select the text that I want and then copy, then open word, and paste it there, then print it.
there is some third party software that will capture the web page and then reformat the edges to print correctly.
just do a google search for web printing and you should find plenty of resources for that.
