Outlook Express 6 and MSN

hi I'm using OE6 and I want it to run msn messenger when it starts. I could do that with the old messenger that comes with Windows. now i installed msn7 and then deleted the old one (i had to delete) and the options for messenger usually found in OE are gone. uses winxp pro;
thank you
