No prompt when clicking on zip files

Hi,

I'm using IE6 windows XP home and over the last couple days I have noticed that when I click on a link that contains a zip file it just starts downloading to my temp folder where as it should prompt with the option to open, save or cancel the download. I don't have this problem when clicking on a link for an .exe file and I'm not sure why all of a sudden it's happening with zip file.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thankyou.

I ended up finding the solution which was just to restore the zip file in the folder options.
