pc to phone service
Hey everyone, it's been awhile. My son is deploying to Iraq Jan 5th and I need to find a good service for pc to phone with International calls that is free or reasonable. TIA

I don't have any recommendations, but he should be able to hook up with you by IM as easily as he can get to a phone, possibly even with voice IM.

SKYPE has a pc to phone service called SkypeOUT but there are service areas which you must be in. its real cheap at 2 US cents per minute

Thanks...got the IM lined up with the camera and mic, we were just trying to cover all bases. So far nobody in his unit knows if the Army will let them use msn, yahoo...etc.

I get the impression from the TV news that IM is widely used for this purpose.
