IE Doesnt Work!
No matter what I do, uninstall, reinstall, download a new version, nothing works I cant get IE to work! I need IE to do windows update because it only updates my machine through the browser and I need to update because my Windows Media Player wont work every time I start that it tells me "Internal Application Error". I have uninstalled and reinstalled and upgraded as best I could without windows update both IE and Windows Media Player. Without IE I cant get window media to work and the reason I need windows media is because I have an online subscription to this movie rental website which uses a special windows media format, so I am screwed until I get windows media to work.

First, try scanning for spyware using adaware and spybot.
Adaware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ Spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=download

When did it stop working? Try going back to a restore point to before it stopped working.
Either that, or you could try booting off the XP CD and running a repair. |
