firefox and pcmech acting up
when i browse this site with firefox, it freezes up on me every couple of seconds. this includes when scrolling, and typing. pcmech seems to be the only site that does this. however, when i use IE, everything is just fine. i don't know what it is with firefox that would cause this, as i have used it on all my other systems. none of my other systems freeze on pcmech.
so, here are my specs: p4 3.2e 1 gig corsair xms radeon 9800 pro aiw windows xp pro any idea what could be causing this? thanks craig

I have the same "problem." Look at the bottom left of the browser, it's waiting for the data to load from the ad servers. Doesn't bother me in the least; I recently returned to broadband after a 3 1/2 year absence

Im sure everyone is running the latest Firefox version...
If it is hanging on ad-servers, then try looking for a good hosts file, with ad-servers blocked 98% of the websites I visit have NO ads whatsoever because my computer dosent even bother to load them since the address is in my hosts file scott |

I have the same problem with Ff - the freezing when scrolling. Mine is also happening when the page is already loaded, it's really annoying. I guess I could always use that other browser.

Try downloading the adblock extension and blocking vibrantmedia's scripts. You'll find it run a lot smoother.
