Very annoying Hotmail (or browser?) problem
I have my Maxthon web browser set to open both my Hotmail inbox and PCmech when I start Maxthon. This has worked fine forever. Since yesterday, however, THIS is what i see when I open Maxthon. Instead of Hotmail I get "Action Canceled". PCmech opens fine. The only way I can get to my Hotmail inbox is to go to MSN.com and click on Hotmail. This is extremely annoying. Any ideas?

maxthon........
I myself use maxthon it rocks!!! I take nothing away from the good people in this forum. I suggest this. Go to maxthon.com. Go to forums and ask them. Tara is right on top of any problems with maxthon. You may want to check your cookie settings. First open ie and set your security level to default. Tools internet options and security. I hope I did not offend anyone with this post. Just want to get the poster the best possible info..........peace....im out

Hey! Finally another Maxthon user! People around here seem to be stuck like glue to Firefox. I, however like Maxthon a lot better. Anyway, I am already a member of the maxthon forums under the same user name and even the same avatar that I have here.
I didn't even think to post it there. I'll go ahead and do that.

I use both maxthon and firefox. Most of the time firefox, for any IE specific pages, maxthon anything besides regular IE. I wish someone would make a hybrid between mozilla and IE. Check you cookie settings and try cleaning out your temp internet and cookie files.

Who saids you're the only one Hi Ho - my laptop's default browser, after discovering that Firefox was a tad bit too much for it, is Maxathon. As for that, what happened when you pressed Refresh? Something tells me its more of a URL problem more than the software - recopy the link that leads to your inbox.

I have recopied the link to no avail. If I refresh I get a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" error. Temp files are cleared on closing.
UPDATE: I just noticed that the same thing happens on my other PC. Doesn't that mean the problem is not browser related? Last edited by Hi Ho; 01-16-2005 at 02:09 AM. |

I have always had it set to "sign in automatically" and it has always worked. It would go right to my inbox. Even when I go through MSN.com I'm already signed in.

Another long time Maxthon user here. Been using it since it was MyIE2 version 0.026 or something.
No complaints, but I never use the auto-sign in thingy. But that's just personal preference.
