If you just want to have a personal site and your own domain, the most economical way is register a domain and take the basic hosting package with GoDaddy.

Smidget,
I would definitely take glc's advice and register your chosen domain name with GoDaddy. However, if you're looking for alternate hosting options I would consider Total Choice Hosting (http://www.totalchoicehosting.com). They have very good plans and prices and I have been extremely pleased with their uptime and customer service. I've been hosting with them for almost 1 year now and would be happy to answer questions if you have any... Good luck! -LW |
