hi:

how to I configure my machine to open jpeg file extensions in i.e 5.0, presently it defaults to photoeditor.

my computer / view / folder options/ file options/ jpeg / open and pointed the execution to the i.e. 5.0 executable, but it always defaults back to photoeditor.

thanks dennis

Cool

The easiest way is to find a jpeg file on your PC, right click on it and select "open with" and if given the option select "choose program", when the open with window opens choose IE and click into the box that states "always use this program..."

acctualy, if the file extension .jpeg is already associated with viewer you will have to hold the shift key down while right clicking in order to get the open with dialog...once its open select IE from the list and make sure the make default viewer box is checked.
