Firefox changed my default user-how do I change back?

Firefox changed my default user profile one day when I started it up, and now all my bookmarks, settings, profiles, etc, are gone. Where did they go and how do I get them back?

I've looked a little bit, and I haven't found a profile manager as suggested in the
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs_:_Profile_folder site.

Can anyone help me out here? I had a bunch of stuff that I want back...

-Well, after looking a little deeper, I figured it out. It wasn't that pretty of a solution (I ended up copying the user profiles that I wanted to a new default profile) but it's working.
