How to run a mail server
Hi, I have a website that I'm running successful on
Apache web server, and since I'm already running a web server I figured that I might as well run a email server, my question is what exactly do I need and have to do? so I can have a email address like webmaster@mydomain.com I've tried using Mailenable and configured it with Outlook Express but when I test it out I couldn't send or recieve email I could only send and receive to my own address at my webmaster@mydomain.com with any other email addresses it won't work, can someone please help me to configure it properly, Thanks |

Your ISP is probably blocking the ports to prevent you from running a mail server on a residential account. You need to review your terms of service.
