I had an interesting problem the past few days. Every time I would hit the back button, it seemed like IE would go back the the web page and reload. Well, it actually was. I checked my cash file with exploder and found only cookies in it. Properties showed several hundred meg stored in it but the cookies stored there couldn't have been 5 meg or so.
I went to every setting and everything looked OK. I then went to the tools button on IE, and clicked on, "move the cash file", moved it from the temp/temp internet spot up one level to a sub file under LocalSettings. It backed out of the internet and auto logged me out and when I went back in to IE, the cash was working. I can now see the files and speed is back. How could this file do this and what happened? Its fixed but don't have a clue as to what was happing to the internet files and why IE would not see them. Jim
