Is there any way to retrieve previously deleted history?

Google "index.dat suite". It's freeware that should do what you want.

Even if you delete your history, there is still information in your index.dat file. You can download this program to view the index.dat file and view your history files. I assume you are looking for an address you forgot. It will not allow you to restore your history.

The program will do a search for you for index.dat files. You need to find the one associated with your history. View that file and you will be able to see where you have been.
