How to Use Full Screen?
I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 9200 with a wide screen. But when I open IE 6.0 to browse, only about 60% of the width is used. On each side is just blank screen. I am using XP Professional.

What happens if you hit the Maximize button? What about grabbing the edges and stretching them?

The window is already maximized. It just does not have anything on either side of the web page.

Are you talking about all webpages? Some webpages, PCMech excluding, are written for a 800x600 resolution, which is the average web surfer's system capability as for screen resolution. Try something like HTML Goodies - they are written to utilize 100% of the user's browser. This forum should also use a 100% of your width. Am I on the same page as you are...have a feeling I know what you are talking about here.
