hit counter
Hi
When I'm browsing and i come across a webpage with a hit counter, it won't display. I either see a white box with a red cross where the counter should be or a red square, green circle, blue triangle in a boxPlease help....i know the box with the shapes is something to do with a program but i dont know which 1. I am running win xp sp2 |

Is this a page you are building, or is this just a page somewhere out on the net?
If it is a page you are building, what are you using to create the hit counter?

What browser are you using? If you have javascript enabled, I don't think there's much else you can do on your end. Do you happen to have the link?

This is a link i found with the shapes in the box i was talking about but in this instance it is a video i cannot see. Iam using IE6 as my browser

That's not a hit counter. A hit counter is a small box of numbers somewhere on the page that counts the number of hits on a webpage. This feature has gone by the wayside in the past few years.
