When I'm browsing and i come across a webpage with a hit counter, it won't display.
I either see a white box with a red cross where the counter should be or a red square, green circle, blue triangle in a boxPlease help....i know the box with the shapes is something to do with a program but i dont know which 1.

Is this a page you are building, or is this just a page somewhere out on the net?

If it is a page you are building, what are you using to create the hit counter?

What browser are you using? If you have javascript enabled, I don't think there's much else you can do on your end. Do you happen to have the link?

You need Real Player or Real Alternative. That's what it opened in here.

That's not a hit counter. A hit counter is a small box of numbers somewhere on the page that counts the number of hits on a webpage. This feature has gone by the wayside in the past few years.

What you linked to is a imbedded media player in need of a plug-in: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...lternative.htm
