Peruse the links below the definition for more info. Click on "bulletin board system" in the definition for the definition of BBS.

Talking ??s

Mc2phat,thank you for the link, I will study it. One of the reasons that I asked is that I was told to post something in a usre net group or bulletin board and since I didn't know what it was I Googled it and came out with some 2,000,000 + links and everyone that I clicked on wanted to sell me a membership to a group and they told me it was free because it was only information or connections. So I'd thought I would ask on the forum since you folks have more expirence than me. Thanks again Chiquito!!!
