Is there a way to make Opera stop opening a new tab every time I click on a link?

Go to Tools > preferences > windows. What options do you have set there?

Window handling --> Prefer pages inside window
Pop-ups --> Block unwanted pop-ups Cycle pages --> Cycle in recently used order Loading --> Redraw after one second New pages --> Always maximize Reuse existing page -- Checked Open new page next to active -- Unchecked Shew scroll bars -- Checked Smooth scrolling -- Unchecked Shew window size -- Unchecked Shew tooltips -- Checked |
