force ie to start on startup in kiosk mode
I'm currently working on turing an older windows xp machine into an internet access kiosk. I have already been able to make the machine rather secure by disabling much of the functions and locking down the sart menu ete. I have set IE to run at startup however, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way or registry hack that will make IE start in kiosk mode with the address bar standard.

Right now im on a PC with this this program called "etrust antivirus" and the filter is really tight. I cant even get to the start menu, and right clicking is disabled in IE along with many other things.

Here's the command line for the shortcut in your startup:
iexplore -k http://yourwebpage.com No address bar though. Ctrl+L or Ctrl+O will open a dialog box to enter a URL. |

Well, on Windows Xp, it is very easy to have anything startup with your comp. Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\ (Your account) \ Start Menu \ Programs\ Startup Now in this folder, drag a shortcut to IE. It will (edit) startup with your comp. However, if I were you, I'd use Firefox!!!!!!!! http://www.getfirefox.com |

sigma, that's not answering the question. The poster wants to start IE in the kiosk mode - and already HAS IE running at startup.
