Budget Web Hosting Recommendations?

Dear Forum-

I've been using my free space on VT's server for several years now and I think I've decided to upgrade to an actual webhost provider.

Tech's server only allocates me 60MB and I've nearly burned that up.

I already have my domain registered and I've just been trying to find a nice budget rate host...that is still decent.

Any recommendations or advice would be great. I don't have a static IP at home, so I think I've decided against hosting in-house.

Thanks in advance.

Oh and I was looking into IllusionFXnet by the way...

Is $8.95 a month reasonable?

We've been with them for about 7 years now, and have had minimal problems. 24/7 toll free phone support if necessary. Register your domain with GoDaddy.

Web Host Recommendation

Hello, I use eHostPros.com. I have their starter plan for 3 bucks a month plus I registered a domain with them. I get about 100 MB disk storage. I am very happy with their service and they have a nice, easy "C Panel X" which allows you to monitor disk usage, start a guestbook, manage your webmail, add subdomains, backups, sql database, chatroom, bulletin board, and a scripts library among other things. You can upload all your files via an FTP account into a public_html folder.

Good luck in whatever hosting service you choose!

Thanks for all the replies!

I ended up giving IllusionFXNet a try. I'm on the budget plan ($25/year) which gives me 500MB of space, 200GB of bandwidth, and a handful of other features.

I'm still in the migration process; however, I've moved most of the site over now.

Thanks again and yall have a great week.
