Making window size changes stick in ie 5.5

Recently there was a post regarding making changes to the window size and placement in IE5.5 and having the changes stick when you exit the program. I cannot find it now and would like to know how to do it.

Try maximizing the window and hold down the shift key while you close it.

Reset New Browser Window Size

Sometimes Internet Explorer 5 "decides" to remember the wrong size for a new window. Whatever you do, you can't seem to get it to remember a normal size.

You can fix this:

1.Close all instances of Internet Explorer
2.Start the Registry Editor
3.Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main
4.Delete the value Window_Placement
5.Exit the Registry Editor
