OE, compressing files ?
The last few times that I closed out Outlook Express I got a message that said "Outlook Express can compress files to save disk space" or something like that. What is that all about? I have a 80 gig. HD and only using about 7 gig.
It does give me an option like "Don't ask again" but what is going on ? Does Outlook Express itself have a space allocation ? I am running Windows XP Pro with all the updates, and Internet Explorer. Thanks !

If you receive a 10 meg attachment and delete the message the file space isn't reduced till you compress the files.

Yes, allow it to compress. This is basic database maintenance.
