Hello, i have owned hosting and a domain for a long amount of time. although now i hardly use it i've decided to use it for file storage purposes. I often see websites such as:

http://files.oneindig.com/cstrike/maps/
http://thehive.nrgservers.net/

that just list the folders/contents. i was told to delete the index, although when i do that i get a 403. Forbidden notice. How do i make my websits into a list of it's contents like above? any help is appreciated. thanks!

You will have to edit your .htaccess file to allow for directory listing.

Here's a tutorial that tells you how. Good luck
