Pissed anoying popup ads

ok I am absolutely sick and tired of these stupid third party? popup ads for cameras etc. Is there any software that will stop them?

Turning off Javascript will work but you will lose a lot of functionality on some sites.

What you need is popup killer its brilliant. You can set it for varying effectiveness, though i found anything stronger than the default setting means that some sites are unobtainable altogether. What i do is switch off the smart facility, but just click on pop-ups i dont want at sites i visit regularly, it remembers them and next time you go to that site the popup is zapped on loading. the download can be had at:

go to http://www.analogx.com and download their free pop-up killer (software - network - browser addons) simplest pop-up killer there is - also a free cookie killer - brilliant little programmes.

I used POPNOT, an $8 (US) shareware. It works really good. It will kill pop ups by default. If you need to open some sites, you can use your right mouse or just turn the thing off.

It works quite well, although some are just as impressed with freeware.
