Finding IP through AIM Plugin?
Are there any plugins that allow one to see the IP of the person he is talking to over AIM? Is there a program for this, or another program I can use like GAIM or Trillian that will tell me this info. Thanks a lot.

In Gaim, I think you can see a user's IP in your friend list by moving your mouse over the name, the IP will appear in a popup.
Not sure though, so I suggest you give it a try, I don't have Gaim around right now. |

Send a file to them, as soon as it starts to transfer:
Type netstat -n into the command prompt. Start>Run>CMD Then wait until the file finishes and do it again, Whichever IP address has disappeared is their IP address. |

Your connected directly, transferring a file right? I haven't done this for a little while, but I'm sure it still works. If AIM still makes a direct connection between machines, and I think it does.
