G is for growth
Just saw my gmail account was upped to 2 gigs (2052 MB). Cool.
Yahoo also said a while back theyd go to 1 gig but my Yahoo account is still at 250 MB. Which is enough btw. I like all the space in in my gmail account for storeing/transfering files. GMail drive is a cool shell extension for that. Thanks shadowbreaker513 Last edited by nubbler; 04-02-2005 at 10:01 PM. |

Yeah, that's the only drawback. Maybe next year they will increase the file size and start counting like they are now with the total space. Hopefully it happens before next year. |

That makes sense. I figure though that sooner or later one of the 3 (Yahoo mail, Hotmail, Gmail) is going to bump it and the other will most likely follow suit. |

it would be fairly difficult to put all your files/music onto gmail (even without the 10mb limit), can you imagine how long it would take to upload 1gig even?
