Hi vince809,

What operating system (Windows XP, Windows 2000, etc.) are you using?

Have you installed Service Pack 2 for Windows XP?

If so, this article from MS suggests reinstalling SP2 to repair Internet Explorer:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q318378

It also has some suggestions if you do not have SP2 installed.

I have tried reinstalling SP2, didnt work. I think it's a missing URLSearchHook because when I ran Hijack this, it said it was missing. How do i create another URLSearchHook?

You would probably be better off with a repair/install of XP.
What make model of computer have you got? is it a branded or custom built?
What type of copy of XP have you got? is it a full version or recovery disks that came with the computer?
