i wish i lived in america >.< i think the limit for a home connection here is about 1mb realistically (but most of the big companys limit your downloads which SUCKS)

im here with 576kbps for £23 per month but it is unlimited so im happy, apparently BT are upping all the 1mb connections to 2mb and all the 512/576kbps connections to 1mbps (all free of charge)

Have you considered ntlworld? my son lives back home in the UK, I think he is paying a little less than you for a whole lot more, as soon as I see him online I will get you some details.

My comcast download speed is 500KB/s tranfer download.
377kbps upload

So for 13 extra bucks...you get.....+266Kb/s download & around twice the upload speed....
Hey if you got the money why not :-p

For the Awesome bandwidth, isnt the place to be Korea and Japan primarily? I thought the U.S. was getting our butts kicked speed wise in those location. Anything over 512/128 DSL or Cable seems very unstandardised up in Alaska still

japan has terible internet connections apparently, the whole system is owned by the government or one big company or something and they cba to make it better because its to expensive to do so.

v21 doesnt look bad, but does anyone know of any ISP's that let you run PHP/cgi/mysql stuff on the webspace you get? i know pipex does but they only allow certain scripts that they have pre-designed
